Although I miss my pull-out bar to hang wet undergarments on, and getting used to knobs across the top is an adjustment at 5'2..I do love the larger capacity, the quieter cycles, and no buzzing when finished running to wake up close by sleepers..Also it has many washer cycles to choose from. I haven't quite gotten used to the load then pour in supplies process ~ but I'm working in it!! The catch to the dryer is a little flimsy is my only real negative point.

went to start the washer and it started flooding out of the bottom of it. went to Menards and they said its whirlpools problem. so whirlpool says it will take 3-5 days to even set up for someone to look at it. this is junk you buy a brand new item and it comes broke come on. the dryer is great . for what we paid it should have come in working condition

The washer dryer I am reviewing is a replacement for one of the same model that had the same problem. The auto dry feature does not work, there is no buzzer and the washer does not always fill properly. It also takes 2 to 3 hours to dry an average load. I have had two technicians come out and both said they could not find a sensor or any wiring for one in the machine. Was it left out during manufacturing? Given the number of good reviews, I can only think that there was some kind of mistake at the plant.

Very easy to use and very little detergent is needed. Clothes come out clean and dried just the right amount of time. The only negative is it is louder than my old laundry set, but I am already getting used to it.

I bought this to replace standard sized washer and dryer as needed it to take up less room. I was surprised that I didn't loose much capacity over the standard models. Most of the time I wasn't running full loads anyway. It's pretty straight forwards to use. Both the washer and dryer have the variety of cycles I need.

After reviewing both GE and Whirlpool models for installation in my new home, I chose Whirlpool based on customer reviews. Apparently, GE models have a poor track record in terms of frequent repairs needed. While the location of controls are better situated on the GE model - I'm 5'3" - I really like the efficiency and quiet operation of my Whirlpool.
