I installed it on my new Washer/Dryer 2100 series in 2010. I have experienced no vibration or unusual noise. I have been very please with the installation. I had to perform some maintenance on the washer when the cold water valve started leaking. Removing the dryer from on top of the washer to gain access to the valve was a breeze.

I read this comment prior to purchasing this same stacking kit. I am glad I ignored the comment because I stacked my LG washer and dryer set today using this stacking kit and although my laundry room is right next to my room I only here the washer and dryer when the notification goes off to let me know a load is finished. I watched a YouTube video illustrating how to assemble this stacking kit which is pretty straight forward. I attempted to add a photo but the add photo module does not seem to be working.

Terrible fit

The stacking unit does not provide a secure or sufficiently tight fit between the washer and dryer. During the washer spin cycle the dryer vibrates and rocks making a ghastly LOUD racket. I rush to the laundry room thinking the system is off balance and in danger of flying apart.. I have had the company out to tighten the fittings bit the problem persists. The wear and tear will shorten the life of the units. I would not buy LG again. I cannot leave the house whenever Im doing laundry.
