I did not realize that the broiler would shut off when the door was opened. I like to broil steaks with the direct heat only not bake them. The aluminum stove top scratches VERY easily and the scratches show clearly. The top should have a durable finish like being enameled.

Love it but would make a few changes

Weve had our range for a year and are very pleased with the performance and the even cooking. Best of all it looks great. While Im not unhappy with it I would make a few changes. 1. The timer is a touch control so it is hard to set it to the correct timing. It easily jumps by 10 minute intervals and then have to back it off. 2. We have never used the grill. Would really love to have a 5th burner for pans instead. 3. The stainless steel burner surface is very easily scratched. On the other had it is very easy to clean. 4. I was not aware of some mozzarella cheese residue in the oven when when I used the self clean feature for the first time. The oven surface now has a chip in it. Very frustrating as LG claimed it was not a defect in the surface. 5. While my husband loves the Ultra Heat burner I would prefer that all burners be the same. There is nothing that I cook that needs that extra heat.

great stove but difficult to get parts for.

One of the grills broke as I placed a large New england clam boil pot on it and filled it up. I made three attempts to get a replacement but was sent the wrong part each time. I gave up and sent it out to a welding shop who repaired it. not pretty but it works. now the front left burner will not ignite. Not even going to bother trying to get it fixed as my past experience was subpar. The oven works great though.

An OK unit

I love the Ultra-heat burner as it boils water quickly. The oven seems very slow to pre-heat. I am unable to get the oven to connect to the internet at all. When I try to connect I get this message: oven is busy with another task. Try again after it is finished but it is not performing another task. So I was ripped off with this bogus feature.

We purchased the whole set and what a disappointment. The oven has been replaced once as service came out and found it would not reach temp. We have had the same problem with the new oven we know the turkey takes an extra hour to cook. ugh On a side note our refrigerator that came as part of the package will not cool and even though I purchased the warranty they will not repair quote its a LG problem. I would not recommend this product.

Disappointed with LG product quality

We purchased lg gas range and microwave after owning an lg washer and dryer . While it is crucial to have quality in the brand it is equally important to have caring people who represent that company . I had problems with all lg appliances washer gave error code and rattling noise microwave stopped in the middle of cycle and the brand new gas range oven knob stopped working after only 18 months of super gentle usage . Disappointed and frustrated I called lg and as of now I still have 2 appliances not working after being in contact with lg for a month and a half .customer service people dont care and are not prompt . This gas range looks beautiful but its not durable . The metal plate lining the surface of the range got faded by only water contact with cleanup .

Not exactly what I expected

The unit is very aesthetically pleasing and the range top works quite well. I was under the impression it was a dual fuel unit when I purchased it so when it arrived I was disappointed that is wasnt. The top of the range is regular stainless steel so this detracts from the look quite a bit. Im not sure if it cleans as easily as my previous range yet so we will see.

If a Stove Could be Athletic .....

Ive had 3 stoves in the past 8 months. This is my 3rd. The 1st one was dented scratched and the back where the controls were was crooked by a half inch. After months of being told to tolerate it I persisted and the company refunded the stove. The 2nd while having a couple of really nice features continued to get hotter and hotter bubbling the surface of the stove melting things in the cupboard next to it and the control board getting too hot to touch. I was to tolerate that too. After 8 repair visits to our home without resolutionI didnt. I was afraid it would just blow up With 5 burners I could only use 2 pots or pans at a time. The burners were so close which didnt help with the heat disbursement. The company a different one refunded that stove too. Then I walked into an appliance store with my big bag of pots pans and cookie sheets. I wanted to be sure everything could fit in the oven and on the stove. Thats when I found the LG Im in love with this stove. If a stove could be athletic this one is It outperforms any Ive ever had The stainless drip area under the gas burners shows no buildup or stains cleans so easily it always looks new The oven beautiful royal blue works like a charm and cleans with ease. It cooks evenly and the racks are strong allowing you to feel secure when moving them as theyre holding whatever youre roasting or baking. Back on the cooking field the grates are sturdy and have little soft protectors on the bottom to keep a little cushion between them and the stovetop and also the counter when they are removed for cleaning. Best of all the drip pan is a level playing field no dips hills ruts.... so easy to clean right up to the burners Im so pleased with finish of every part of this range. The dials have a definite firm touch when initiating offs and ons. The distance which makes a difference between your pot/pan and the flame is perfection Nothing burns or overcooks and cookware doesnt get scratched on the bottom. The control board sings to me when the oven reaches its temperature when the timer goes off ... sweet little tunes that make you want to dance in the kitchen I cook at least 2 meals a day. This gas range is perfection So many little details have been considered in the design of this range. A true winning purchase to last long into the future Thank you LG Youve let me enjoy cooking once again

Poor customer service

I purchased this range as a clearance item from a major retailer. I installed the range and the 3rd time of use the cast grate over the burners cracked. I have tried for 3 months to get the replacement grate from LG but am getting the run around. I have provided the requested documents and have not received the replacement. I am continuing to pursue getting the part but am disappointed with the customer service provided by LG. At this point I will never purchase another product from LG.

Nice gas range

Unfortunately the first one we received had a faulty oven door that wouldnt stay closed properly when using the oven it kept displaying door and the oven would start losing heat until we gave the door a little nudge Bestbuy replaced it very quickly and the new one works great were very happy with it

Just used it for the first time last night works great pan around burners is hard to get clean maybe a stainless cleaner would work. Burner knobs sloppy just korean quality.

Nice burners and convection oven

Awesome upgrade from our 20 year old range. Oven bakes evenly and is super quiet. The black stainless steel matches our LG fridge perfectly. Super easy to use and can be programmed from your phone.

We bought this range two weeks ago and so far are very pleased. The stainless steel cooktop is easy to clean and the burners are so much better than our last range. We are also pleased with the oven. It is roomy and cooks evenly. Love the pro-bake convection feature. We would recommend this gas range to anyone.

Nice gas range

Bought it to replace a stand alone gas range. First thing noticed was that its much heavier than the old one meaning solidier to me. It looks very nice and works very well. Much more powerful too. Loves the blue easyclean inside. LG customer service is super.

The stove is beautiful but the the cast iron grates are very heavy. To clean you now have to remove 3 grates. Instruction booklet is more like a novel. Sometimes simple is better

Very happy with our new range. First experience with the convection oven feature and love it for most things but still use regular bake for cookies pies. The stainless top is easy to clean. Only negative is the griddle in the center gets in the way when you have pans on every burner. We love using it for pancakes though.

I have only had my stove for a few weeks but really like it I especially like the big burner and how fast it is. Love the color of the oven. Only thing I do not like is having to clean around the burners every day.

I love the cook-top pan if I may call it that which catches spillage. It is completely sealed so all spillage or splatters stay in the pan making it a joy to clean. I actually think it is an incentive to maintaining is newness. I also love the fact that the griddle can be placed horizontally on the grate not for cooking purposes but for making room for bigger pots on the side burners. I have the rounded bottoms on my woks that I love to cook with and the grates have an opening over the burner so that the round bottom just fits right in there. No need to get a wok ring. The grates are the length of two burners so you can easily slide a pan to the adjacent burner without having the grate move as with single burner grates. The bottom drawer is sturdy and glides easily even with cast iron pans in it.. not having a back splash and having all the controls and instrument panel at the front is another must that gives more cooking room. Read you manual thoroughly take notes highlight instructions that you think are important tab those pages and than use the different features as quickly as possible to learn how they all work so you can enjoy using your new oven and get excited about cooking.

Slide in range does not rest on countertop

Very disappointed with this slide in range that does not cover the countertop. This is a step back 20 years why would you want to have to clean all the cooking debri under the sides of the range. Calling Best Buy and returning. And will buy one that is built with common sense this WiFi is great but not covering the countertop is a huge disappointment.

Had it installed Wednesday tried to bake on Thursday and it wont. Apparently the range thinks the door is open of course it isnt. also the door lock wont lock. Did the self diagnosis and it claims everything is fine. Really dissappointed in LG. Apparently they dont have good quality control. I was considering buying three more appliances probably should rule out LG for those three.

So Disappointed

I remodeled my kitchen this year and bought this stove. The very first time I tried to cook anything it would shut off while it was preheating. Ive had someone out to fix it 6 times and it still doesnt work. LG makes the serviceman go through replacing one item at a time to see if it works and if it doesnt they have the serviceman try the next item to see if that works. Ive now been without an oven for 10 months.

Its Beautiful Functional and We Love It

Its really beautiful practical and we love it. we have cooked a roast lately on the convection roast. It has a lot of choices but we switched from electric to gas and we are totally happy. Food cooks evenly faster and tastes much better. The LG has everything you could want for a reasonable price.
